What is an APU in Trucking?
APU units are good news for the trucking industry. Kind of like an inverter system but more heavy duty. It is a small, efficient motor that is capable of producing the power needed to keep the heating or cooling systems running, and operate interior appliances without the need to run the truck’s engine.
