About Swakop Uranium (SU)
Swakop Uranium is a world-class uranium mining company, it is dedicated to sustaining global best practice in Uranium Exploration,mining and processing in Namibia.In 2011, SU was granted a licence to develop the Husab Uranium Mine, which is the third largest uranium mine in the world. The discovery of the Husab uranium deposit was one of the world’s most significant mineral findings in decades, and the production of the first drum of uranium oxide from Husab mine becomes a significant event in the history of Namibia.
Namibia is one of the sunniest countries in the world, it is located in the southwest of Africa. Namibia is rich in mineral resources, mining is the biggest contributor to Namibia's economy in terms of revenue, it accounts for 25% of the country's income. As a result, everywhere there you can see the mining equipment working in the hot and dry climate.
As the mining machines always worked in the harsh ambient environment day and night , out of caring for workers and environmental considerations, Swakop Uranium decided to install a batch of air conditioner to improve their working environment. After compared many air conditioners supplier on the market and tested many sample units, they are satisfied with the cooling capacity and robust design of our a/c. Finally we established a deeper partner cooperation on battery driven and engine driven air conditioners for their mining equipment and mining buses .
Corunclima battery operated air conditioner is driven by DC12V DC24V original batteries, It can work even when the engine is turned off. Besides, all the parts are integrated into 1 monoblock, you can never touch unnecessary parts at all, this makes there is no risk of breaking any other parts. The installation is rather easy , even you are the first time fit it on a machine ,you can finished it in only two hours. Just fix roof top air conditioner on the top, then connect the electric wires. Then all job is done.
